Simera is designed to keep your camera workflow on your Mac. This policy explains the limited information involved when you use the Simera website, application, support, and licensing services.

Camera data

Camera frames used by Simera are processed locally on your Mac and in the iOS Simulator. Simera does not upload, store, or transmit your live camera feed to us.

Website data

The Simera website does not currently use advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. The hosting provider may process basic request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, for security and delivery.

Licensing and purchases

Purchases and license activation may be handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. It may process your name, email address, payment information, tax information, license key, and activation details under its own privacy policy. Simera may store a license key and a privacy-preserving installation identifier to enforce the licensed device limit.

Support

If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message and use it only to respond to your request and maintain appropriate support records.

Data retention

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary. Purchase and licensing records may be retained as required to provide your license, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we control, subject to legal and fraud-prevention requirements.
