Terms of Use

Last updated August 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Simera macOS application and website. By installing or using Simera, you agree to these terms.

License

A purchased individual license grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Simera on one active Mac at a time. You may move the license to a replacement Mac by deactivating the previous installation. You may not publish, resell, sublicense, or share your license key.

Trial

Simera may offer a seven-day evaluation period. Attempts to reset, bypass, or repeatedly obtain the trial are prohibited.

Updates

An Early Supporter lifetime license includes continued use of the purchased product and updates released through Simera version 1.x. Future major versions may be offered separately.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer Simera except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with its licensing controls, distribute modified copies, or use it to violate another person’s privacy or rights.

Availability and compatibility

Simulator behavior can change with macOS, Xcode, and iOS Simulator updates. We work to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee that every third-party camera implementation or future operating-system version will be supported.

Payments and refunds

Payments, applicable taxes, and eligible refunds are processed by our merchant of record under the terms shown at checkout.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Simera is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Changes

We may update these terms when the product or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available on this page.
